Sumire has seen ghosts for as long as she can remember. She told her family. She told her friends. They all patted her on the head and called her a liar, so she stopped talking about it and tried to be a normal high school girl. Polite, shy, friendly. That part worked fine. The other part, the one where she spends her afternoons in a weird little antique shop under a bridge, did not. Most customers there are just browsing for trinkets and odd costumes. The rest slip in quietly, looking for a way out. Something is stalking the streets and stealing the souls of people who never see it coming. Then a brooch comes flying out of nowhere, a monster follows, and a girl in gothic lolita frills named Lucia cuts it down without blinking. Lucia has been hunting these things on her own. Sumire can see what other people cannot, which makes her useful. It also makes her a target. Now she has a choice to make, and it is not a fun one: keep hiding behind her quiet school life, or step into the shop's back room and fight things nobody else believes exist. Lucia is not exactly gentle about recruiting her either. So what happens when the girl who was called a liar her whole life finally finds someone who needs her to be right?
