A whole year has passed since Tooru moved in with the Soumas, and by now she knows things she probably shouldn't. She has helped Shigure, Kyou and Yuki through their own messes, grown close to the rest of the family, and learned the secret they carry in their blood. Here is the problem. The more she learns, the clearer it becomes that the real story is far darker than she first thought. Summer comes, and Tooru gets invited to spend it with the Soumas, mostly with Kyou and Yuki. She just wants a quiet break. Instead, the closeness between the three of them stirs up old wounds and old feelings in everyone around them, and the peace she was hoping for starts to slip away. On top of all that, the Eternal Banquet is coming. Every member of the zodiac has to show up and play their part next to Akito, the head of the family, whose mood nobody can predict. Tooru wants to help, but every step she takes pulls her deeper into a house full of rules she cannot see. Can she keep the life she has built with the Soumas, or is she already trapped in something she cannot walk away from?
