Fifty years ago, monsters showed up and started killing people. The world built special schools for kids born with powers, pyrokinesis, time travel, all of it, and shipped them off to an island to train. Nanao Nakajima is one of those kids. Except he isn't. No Talent, nothing, and everyone in class knows it, which makes him an easy target between drills. Then two transfer students walk in. Kyouya Onodera, who keeps his ability to himself. Nana Hiiragi, who says she can read minds. For a minute it looks like the class might actually become a team. People start disappearing instead. Nanao wants to finish his training. Nana wants something else, and she is very good at pretending she doesn't. Classmates turn up missing one by one, and nobody can agree on who to trust, least of all the boy with nothing to offer and the girl who hears everything you think. So who is actually hunting who on this island?
