Roy Revant used to have a wife and a daughter. Then the Blast Fall tore the city apart twelve years ago and took them both, and something in him went dark and stayed that way. Now he scrapes by as a bounty hunter, hauling in criminals across a city split hard between the wealthy and everyone else, where you can never tell who is walking around with machine parts under their skin. Then a girl falls out of the sky. Green hair, no memory, and enough strength in her small hands to tear through a thug twice her size. She calls herself Solty, and Roy, against every instinct he has left, takes her in. It does not stay quiet for long. The RUC Security Bureau is hunting her, and the giant conglomerates that keep promising everyone a better life want her back badly enough to tear the city apart looking. Roy starts pulling at the thread of who she really is, and every answer drags him closer to the one question he has spent twelve years avoiding: what actually happened to his own daughter. So why does a memoryless android with impossible power land in the path of a man who already lost everything once?
