Atsushi Kamiya wore the armband at Kakegawa High before he became the courageous captain of a famous Italian club. Now he comes back. The soccer team he left behind is a shadow of what it was: losing, half empty, guys going through the motions. Hideto Tsuji goes to the same school and could not care less. He walks past the field without a glance. Then their paths cross, and something in that lazy kid catches the captain's eye. A retired pro and a boy who refuses to play. What does Kamiya actually see in him, and what will it take to drag a broken team back onto its feet?
