Yoichi Isagi had the goal on his foot. One shot, nationals on the line, and he passed instead. His teammate missed. That moment follows him home, where an invitation from the Japan Football Union is already waiting. Someone picked him out of hundreds of high school strikers for a project called Blue Lock. The man running it is Jinpachi, an eccentric coach convinced Japan will never win a World Cup without a truly greedy forward. So he locks three hundred young scorers in one building and tells them only one gets to wear the national team jersey. Everyone else is banned from Japanese soccer for life. No second chances, no appeals. Isagi knows the whole thing is twisted. He signs anyway, because he needs to know if he should have taken that shot. Now every match is against kids who want the same thing, and losing means watching the dream die from the outside. He has to outscore them, outthink them, crush them. Can a boy who gave up his one big moment learn to take everything for himself?
