The Karasuno boys finally punched their ticket to nationals. Kageyama gets called up to the junior national camp, where he'll set for the best young players in the country. Tsukishima lands an invite to a special first-year camp in Miyagi. And Hinata? Nothing. Not a single letter with his name on it. So he crashes the first-year camp anyway. No invitation, no spot on the roster, just a job picking up balls. A ball boy. Most kids would sulk. Hinata plants himself courtside and starts watching everything: where the blockers drift, how the hitters time their jumps, what a set looks like a split second before it lands. It's a tiny, ridiculous opening, and he grips it with both hands. Meanwhile the whole team is grinding away at their weak spots before the national stage, and every one of them knows the gap between good and the best is measured in inches. Kageyama keeps leveling up among the nation's elite, Tsukishima keeps sharpening his read on the game, and Hinata is stuck on the sidelines with a mop. Can a kid who wasn't invited to anything really claw his way back onto the court?
