For years, the Imperial city slept safe because Sumire Kanzaki stood guard. She led the Flower Division, fought in the big machine, and still walked onstage at night as the Imperial Theatre's brightest star. The other girls watched her before every battle. If Sumire wasn't scared, they figured they had no reason to be either. She was the light they borrowed their courage from, and the memories they made around her were the good kind. Then the light starts to flicker. That's the part nobody wants to say out loud. The woman who held everything together is stepping back, and the stage she owned for so long is being prepared for someone else. The final curtain is going up on her. One legend fades while a new one waits in the wings to take the spotlight. Can the Flower Division hold their ground without the star who taught them how to stand?
