Someone gets into the White House network and digs through the president's secret files. So they call in Leon S. Kennedy to help figure out who and why. Then the lights go out. Not a flicker, not a brownout. Total blackout, and suddenly Leon and the SWAT guys are fighting off a swarm of zombies inside the most guarded building in the country. That part alone should be impossible. Claire Redfield is nowhere near Washington when this happens. She is off helping refugees, and a kid there shows her a drawing. Just a sketch, but it looks like someone wasting away from a virus, and she cannot get it out of her head. She starts asking questions. Next morning she walks into the White House to pitch a welfare facility, runs into Leon, and shows him the drawing. He looks at it. He tells her it has nothing to do with anything, then walks away. It is a lie, and she can feel it. Two outbreaks, two countries, one thread connecting them. Whatever is going on, it is bigger than a dead man's files and a child's drawing. So why is Leon so determined to keep Claire out of it?
