In Nyallywood, the city where movies are made, Pompo runs the show. A producer with her grandfather's instincts and a taste for cheap action flicks, she cranks out one B-movie after another and could not be happier about it. Her assistant Gene is the one who quietly dreams of standing behind a camera, though he keeps that to himself. Then Pompo drops a script on his desk. A serious one, about the life of a composer, and she tells him the director's chair is his. No warning, no buildup. Just like that, the guy who fetched coffee is suddenly in charge of a film that has to be finished in days, not months. Natalie, a struggling actress working every odd job she can find, gets pulled into the mess too. Gene pours everything he has into the shoot, but the clock does not care. Sleep disappears. Something has to give, and he has to decide what. And when the cameras finally stop and the awards talk starts, will the movie he fought for even be his anymore?
