Sora Naegino finally made it. She is the biggest star Kaleido Stage has ever had, and now the spotlight is supposed to slide over to Rosetta Passel, who lands a main role right beside her. Then rehearsal starts, and everything falls apart. Rosetta flubs her cues, the tricks refuse to land, and the girl who once seemed fearless starts asking herself whether she belongs on that stage at all. Fool, meanwhile, is fighting ghosts of his own, and those ghosts are not staying quiet. So the troupe has two problems: a rookie whose confidence is bleeding out by the day, and a mentor figure cracking under memories he never talks about. Nobody is standing still while it happens. The show must go on, but the show is a mess, and the people holding it together are the same ones coming undone. Can Rosetta pull herself back before she walks away from the only life she has ever wanted, and will Fool face what he has been running from long enough to catch her if she falls?
