In 2008, the Japanese government decided that otaku were a threat to the country's culture. The SSC swept through the streets, taking people by force and emptying their shelves of figures, discs, anything they loved. One man who calls himself Otaku Hero escaped with a handful of others and built a resistance out of scattered geeks. Three years later, that fire has nearly gone out. The raids keep coming and nobody is winning. Then hope shows up in a strange shape: a magical girl named Anarchy. She is one of three, and the other two, Blue and Pink, are missing. If Otaku Hero can bring the trio back together, the resistance might finally have a weapon that scares the SSC. But magical girls are not soldiers who follow orders, and Anarchy is not exactly the obedient type. Can a bunch of hunted nerds and three unpredictable girls really topple an agency that owns the whole country, or are they about to burn down what little they have left?
