Tamotsu and his sister Niwaka are just browsing the shops in Akihabara when the streets fill with cosplaying vampires. These things bite people and take them over from the inside, draining the life right out of them, and soon the whole district is crawling with possessed shoppers. Tamotsu almost becomes one of them until a girl with a baseball bat, Matome, smashes her way in and pulls him out. Then he takes a hit meant for her and dies in the street. Matome has one option left: she turns him into a vampire like herself, and just like that, the ordinary otaku is on the other side of the fight. He and Matome team up with Arisa, a cosplayer who is way too excited about all of this, and together they go after the creatures. Their method is simple. Sunlight destroys them, so the clothes have to come off, one ripped outfit at a time, right there in the middle of the city. Somewhere behind all the chaos, someone created these vampires on purpose. But if the only way to save Akihabara is to keep undressing monsters in broad daylight, how long before Tamotsu's own hunger becomes the bigger problem?
