Action2014GainaxRating 5,713+HD

Forty seven magical girls, one for every corner of Japan. A shrine maiden here, a girl with a fishing rod there, each one carrying the spirit of her hometown like a badge. They bicker. They compete. Some of them can barely stand each other. Then the magatsu show up. Strange little creatures that look almost cute enough to pet, right up until they start wrecking everything. Now the same girls who were busy one upping each other have to fight side by side. The problem is that saving Japan means trusting the rival from the next town over, and nobody said that part would be easy. Can forty seven girls who each think their own city is the best put their pride aside before the whole country falls apart?
