Episode 7 · Goodbye, Lara

Goodbye, Lara

Lara grew up in the ocean, a king's daughter, loved by her father and sisters. But she kept staring up at the shore, at a world she only knew from stories. So she went to the witch Grace, drank the potion, and became human. The price: win true love, or dissolve into foam. She didn't win it. Two hundred years later, she opens her eyes in Lake Biwa, in modern Japan, with the same curse still wrapped around her neck. Everything here is strange. The streets, the noise, the rules. Then a blunt, guarded girl named Mari Otsu is the first to reach out a hand. Lara has to learn how to live among people she once only dreamed about. But the old deal wasn't canceled, and only real love can break it. Can Lara find it this time, or is she just here to disappear again?
