Kaito is just messing with his new camera on a bridge one summer night when a blue light rips across the sky and knocks him clean over the railing. He blacks out. A hand grabs his. Next morning he wakes up in his own bed with no scratches and no memory of how he got there, which should be the weird part. It isn't. A new girl shows up at school that same week: Ichika, gorgeous, a little strange, and Kaito falls for her so hard it's almost funny. His buddy Tetsurou, watching all this, gets the bright idea to invite her into their summer movie project. She says yes. Then the shoot actually starts. Script, cast, camera, the whole thing, and suddenly the friends aren't just making a film anymore. Every scene drags feelings out into the open, old crushes get messy, new ones get worse, and nobody can pretend they're just here for the credits. Ichika keeps looking at Kaito like she wants to tell him something and keeps not saying it. So what exactly did he see fall out of the sky that night, and why does the girl he's falling for seem to already know?
