Touko spends her days blowing glass in her father's workshop and hanging out with the same four friends at a cafe called Road of the Wind. Summer festival, fireworks, cold drinks. Then a transfer student shows up. Kakeru barely talks to anyone, but he walks straight up to her and says they share something: they can both hear voices from the future. She has been catching flickers of things before they happen for a while now and told no one. So has he. His arrival cracks her easy summer wide open, and her friends start to notice. There is a rule in their little group against dating inside it, and Touko is breaking it just by feeling what she feels. If you knew what was coming next, would you still want to hear it.
