Drossel von Flügel has a confession to make: she dreamed about a human. Not a threat assessment, not a tactical scan. A dream. So she decides the road to peace starts with talking, with finding some scrap of common ground in words. Then Gedächtnis ruins it. He explains, in that patient way of his, that human language never sits still. It shifts, mutates, invents slang and drops old meanings overnight.
