E's Otherwise
Kai's powers are like nothing anyone has ever seen, so an organization called ASHURUM keeps him and his sick sister Hikaru under its wing. Then a man named Eiji spots him and drops him straight into AESES, the group's special air force, where the training never lets up. In his free moments Kai sits by Hikaru's bed in the organization's own hospital. Her condition never changes. Not after weeks. Not after months. A full year of brutal training goes by. Kai comes out of it stronger than anyone expected, and that's when he makes his move: he decides to run. But ASHURUM didn't pour all that time into him just to let him walk away, and Hikaru is still inside their hospital. Now he has to fight his way out of the only home he has ever known while his sister's life hangs in the balance. Can Kai really break free, or was he always meant to stay?
