A year of quiet, and then the sky starts moving. Something white and enormous is cutting through the galaxy, eating everything in its path, and Earth sits right in its way. It looks like a comet. It isn't. It's the Comet Empire, and it has swallowed worlds before ours. The Star Force gets ordered to sit this one out. They go anyway. First they have to punch through the Andromeda, their own side's flagship, just to get out there and look. Nobody on that ship has any idea what they're actually flying toward. What does a crew do when the enemy is bigger than anything they've ever fought, their own fleet is in the way, and they still don't know what they're really up against?
