Wireless power finally works. No cords, no batteries, just coils that pull endless electricity out of a place called Dimension W. Then people start jailbreaking those coils, and some of them turn the things into weapons. Enter Kyouma Mabuchi, an ex-soldier who hates coil tech so much he still drives a gas guzzler. He hunts illegal coils for cash and fuel. One job goes like clockwork: take down a room full of thugs, grab the merchandise. Except he also drags a girl out of the mess, and she thanks him with a slap that puts him flat on the floor. She is Mira, an android tied to the man who invented coils in the first place. Now the two of them are stuck together, chasing the same weird incidents across a city that runs on stolen energy. Kyouma wants nothing to do with her kind. Mira will not leave him alone. And whatever is hiding inside Dimension W is starting to notice them back. So who is really pulling the plug here?
