Akari reads tarot cards, lives with her aunt and uncle, and has one memory of her mother: an old deck. One night she dreams about a plant monster and watches a tougher version of herself cut it down. She wakes up and finds out the monster was her cousin Fuyuna. Then the strange part: nobody remembers Fuyuna at all. Not her parents. Not Akari. Three magical girls pull her out of her next fight and explain that a deck called the Elemental Tarot was made to counter the Devil's Deck, which feeds on human souls. Akari inherits her mother's Sun card and joins them. Then she learns what the monsters really are. Possessed people. Save what is left of them, or erase them. So how do you keep fighting when every win means killing someone?
