Asuka and her friends spend their afternoons tinkering with old radios in the Crystal Radio Research Club. Then someone brings up the urban legend: at exactly 4:44, tune a radio in front of the Akeyuki Sacred Tree and you will slip into another dimension. They try it as a joke. It works. The five land in a parallel world, a fragment, and the first person they meet is Asuka herself. This other Asuka is cold, deadly with a weapon, and everyone calls her Seriouska. She has been fighting a war they knew nothing about. Something called the Twilight is eating through the parallel worlds, erasing every possibility inside them one by one, and the man responsible is the Twilight King. Seriouska wants him dead. Asuka and the others just want to understand what they have stumbled into. But the more fragments they cross, the more the girls are forced to look at versions of themselves they would rather not meet. What if the way to stop the Twilight is not a fight at all, but something much closer to home?
