Dai-Guard: Terrestrial Defense Corp.

Chikyuu Bouei Kigyou Dai-Guard · 地球防衛企業ダイ・ガード
AdventureComedySci-Fi1999XebecRating 7,213+HD

A giant alien leveled a Japanese city once, back in 2018. Bombs took it down. After that, the country built a giant robot just in case, and then nothing happened for twelve years. So Dai-Guard sat in a warehouse, then smiled from company brochures and parade floats. A mascot. A very expensive mascot. Then the Heterodyne came back in 2030. No warning. Two office managers from the 21st Century Security Corporation climb into the cockpit because somebody has to. The robot still starts, mostly. It creaks, it leaks, it throws a punch like a filing cabinet falling down stairs. Fighting aliens is now a side task between meetings, budgets and a boss who wants receipts for every missile. And the aliens might not even be the worst part of this job. Can three salarymen with a warranty-void robot really hold the line?
