A Letter to Momo

Momo e no Tegami · ももへの手紙

DramaSupernatural2012Production I.GRating 7,60+HD

Her dad is gone, and all he left behind is a letter that stops after two words: Dear Momo. Nothing else. So eleven year old Momo and her mother pack up and leave Tokyo for the family's old house on a tiny island in the Seto Inland Sea, a place of weathered wooden buildings, quiet farm plots, and shrines tucked between the hills. No malls. No friends. Momo wants none of it. Then she pokes around the attic and pulls out a dusty old picture book about youkai. Bad idea. Or maybe the best one. Three troublemaking spirits start showing up around town, turning her already strange new life upside down, and Momo has to deal with them while her mother works and the island keeps its distance. Between the youkai chaos and the half finished letter she can't stop thinking about, Momo is stuck on the one thing she may never get an answer to: what was her father trying to tell her?
