Captain Tsubasa (2018)

Sports2018David ProductionRating 7,40+HD

An 11 year old boy moves to a new town with his mother and one thing on his mind: soccer. Tsubasa Oozora has been glued to a ball since he could walk. His father told him once that the ball is your friend, and he never forgot it. Nankatsu is famous for its elementary school teams, which is exactly why the family packed up and came here. Then a former Brazil national team player, Roberto Hongo, catches a glimpse of him playing. A kid this age does not usually get noticed by someone like that. In his old town Tsubasa was the best by a mile. Here, nobody hands him anything. Rival schools, tougher kids, a goalkeeper named Wakabayashi who might be just as obsessed as he is, and a girl named Sanae who keeps showing up in his life. Wakabayashi is a wall in the goal, and the two of them are about to find out what they can become together. Tsubasa wants to wear the Japan jersey at the World Cup. Every kid says that. Very few mean it the way he does. Talent alone will not carry him there, and he knows it. So what happens when the boy who treats the ball like a friend finally runs into something talent cannot fix?
