A cafe, evening. Two girls gossip at one table. Two men argue about something at another. A boy reads his book. And one guy just got dumped, so he sits there staring at nothing. The waitress comes over and starts talking to him, gentle, like she has all the time in the world. She wants him to look at the easel. Just look at it. That is when things stop being normal. Other customers start noticing too. Sounds come out wrong. Reflections lag. The room seems to be doing something it should not be doing, and the waitress keeps smiling like this is all part of the service. So what is actually on that easel, and why does she need him of all people to see it?
