Anima Yell!
Kohane can't walk past someone who needs a hand, even when helping means missing her own train or getting dragged into somebody else's mess. Her best friend Uki has seen it a hundred times. Then Kohane spots her first cheerleading routine in middle school and something clicks. Now she's in high school and wants a squad of her own. One small catch: she has never done a single cheer in her life. No moves, no uniform, no clue. And she's terrified of heights, which is a real problem when the whole sport is girls her size getting thrown up into the air. Then she runs into Hizume Arima, who quit cheerleading and would rather keep it that way. Kohane recognizes her instantly. Good luck shaking her off now. Hizume gets pulled back in, Uki comes along for the ride, and the three of them start scraping together a club and training for a real competition. Kohane still freezes at the top of every stunt, Hizume still keeps one foot out the door, and the first meet is coming fast. Can a girl who's scared of falling really catch the person at the bottom?
