The Light Music Club is down to its last year. Yui, Ritsu, Mio and Tsumugi are third-years now, and Azusa is the only one left behind in the second-year class. So the four seniors panic a little and start recruiting: fliers pushed into hands, guests dragged into the clubroom, a performance at the welcoming ceremony. Nothing sticks. Nobody signs up. Then Azusa walks toward the clubroom and catches Yui through the door, saying the club is fine with just the five of them, that they can do plenty of fun things as they are. She stops. And she changes her mind about the whole recruitment problem. What follows is their last stretch of high school: tea and sweets after class, rehearsals when they feel like it, career forms nobody wants to fill out, and the occasional burst of actual music. They keep finding time for After School Tea Time. But the graduation date keeps moving closer, and five is a number that cannot stay five forever. What happens to the club when the seniors are gone?
