Asteroid in Love

Koisuru Asteroid · 恋する小惑星〈アストロイド〉
Slice of Life2020Doga KoboRating 6,913+HD

Mira never forgot the night a boy pointed at the sky and told her there was a star named after her. Not one for Ao, though. So she promised him she would find a brand new asteroid and give it his name. Then they parted ways. Years later she walks into Hoshizaki Academy ready to join the astronomy club, only to learn it got merged with the geology kids into one Earth Sciences club. Annoying. But waiting inside that room is Ao. The same Ao. Except the boy from her memories is a girl. The promise still stands, and now they have a whole club of rock collectors and telescope nerds dragged into it. They hunt faint smudges of light in photos, camp out under cold skies, and argue about whether the thing they just spotted is a real asteroid or dust on the lens. Finding an asteroid is hard. Finding one nobody has ever seen before is harder. So what happens when two people finally get what they wished for?
