Haruki walks away from judo with a bad shoulder and zero regrets. His family runs a dojo, but the sport never made him happy, so quitting feels like finally breathing out. Then Kazuma, his best friend, quits right alongside him. Fine. Except Kazuma does not want to sit still. He wants to build a cheerleading squad. All guys. Haruki tells him it is a terrible idea, and somehow that is exactly how he ends up helping. Recruiting is brutal. Nobody pictures dudes in skirts shouting from the sidelines, and the guys they do find are just as unsure as Haruki is. They train anyway, lift each other up, and stumble through every routine like they are learning to walk. The Breakers start to look like an actual team, which is the scary part. Prejudices do not disappear just because you practice hard, and neither do the doubts that creep in at night. So what happens when a bunch of misfits finally stands on that stage: do they prove everyone wrong, or just prove something to themselves?
