Hikari Kokura picked Chidori High for one reason: the rifle club. She shows up ready to join, and the club is gone. Nobody shoots here anymore. Low interest killed it, and now she has a single day to find new members or the whole thing stays dead. So she starts asking around, and somehow lands three first-years who have all stood on a firing range before: Izumi, her friend since childhood, Erika, half-Russian and full of energy, and Yukio, who barely says a word. Four girls, one club room, and air rifles that shoot light instead of bullets. No real firearms in Japan, so this is how the sport survived long enough to reach high schoolers in the first place. They have exactly one goal, and it is not a small one: nationals. Which means daily practice, shaky hands, and a lot of missing the target before anyone hits it. Can four beginners really shoot their way to the top?
