Yui Hirasawa walks into high school with no plan at all. Then a poster catches her eye: light music club. She signs up thinking it means easy stuff, maybe castanets. It does not. Turns out the club needs members badly, or it gets shut down, and the three girls already there will do just about anything to keep her from walking out the door. She almost quits on the spot. Never touched a guitar in her life. So Ritsu, Mio and Tsumugi sit her down and play something for her, and that does it. Something clicks. She stays, picks up a guitar, and starts fumbling her way through chords between homework and class. Weeks go by. She gets a little better, messes up a lot, leans on her new friends for basically everything. And the school festival is creeping closer, which means the club has a debut to get ready for. Can they pull it together in time?
