Yakumo was just trying to get to work after school. Then he hit a girl with his bike. Her name is Pai, and she is the last of the three eyed immortals, though she looks like any other girl wandering the city. What happens next is not a rescue. Pai absorbs his soul to keep him alive, and just like that, the kid becomes an immortal servant bound to her. Not a hero. A slave. The two of them set out to find a way to make Pai human, which sounds simple until the gore and the old myths start piling up. Pai has two sides, and you never know which one is talking. One is so sweet it hurts. The other will tear a monster apart without blinking. And somewhere in the middle of all that blood, something like romance starts to grow, which only makes everything messier. Can a guy who cannot die, and a demon who wants nothing more than to stop being one, actually get what they want?
