Maya comes back to Waldstein Academy in 1999 with one goal: tear the place down. Her father ran it, her father is gone, and she takes over his old office just to burn his legacy to the ground. Then a guy named Fumiaki shows up talking about aliens. Here is the twist. He is not crazy. He is from 2012, the year the world already ended, and he got sent back with a phone that tells him whether the thing in front of him is the Nostradamus Key, the object that triggers the apocalypse. Point it at something, imagine destroying it, snap a photo. Peaceful picture means that is the Key. Picture of ruin means it is not. So now Maya has to keep a straight face while investigating every weird occult happening in town with a partner she barely trusts, and the phones do not always make it obvious which disaster they are looking at. They bicker, they poke around haunted classrooms and local rumors, and somewhere out there the Key is sitting quietly, waiting. Can two people who can hardly stand each other really find it before 2012 arrives?
