The Bokuto police station hasn't changed a bit. Same desks buried under paperwork, same lazy mornings, same two women in traffic division: Miyuki, who stays calm when everything around her is falling apart, and Natsumi, who drives like the road personally insulted her. Ken Nakajima still circles Miyuki on his motorcycle, never quite saying what he means, and Aoi still turns heads every time she walks through the door. Then a fresh face shows up in uniform. Saori Saga, the loud high schooler who used to hang around the station, finally passed the exam and got posted to Bokuto. She walks in ready to fight crime. What she finds is cops who clock out the second their shift ends, sneak off to bars, and let certain things slide if it means avoiding extra forms. Her mentors just shrug. So who cracks first? The rookie with a rulebook for a heart, or the veterans who learned long ago that the job is mostly people being people?
