For a while, the Bokuto police station was quiet. Rules got followed. Nobody yelled. Saori transferred out, Natsumi went off to train with a JSDF ranger unit, and Miyuki flew to the States for forensics work. Peace, basically. Then Miyuki lands back home and a kid at the airport asks her for help. Seconds later an armed man grabs the boy and drags him off. Of course she chases them. It turns into a shootout on the highway, cars swerving, and Natsumi sees it on the news, hops on her bike, and joins in before she has even officially reported for duty. So the two of them are back on active duty, chasing crooks around the city with nothing but guts, fists, and a Honda Today that has been through worse than most officers. Saori is gone. The quiet is definitely gone. The question is whether Bokuto is ready for what these two bring with them this time.
