Natsumi Tsujimoto is already running late for her first day at the Bokuto police station, so she cuts a few corners on her moped. That is when Miyuki Kobayakawa steps in, all rules and regulations, and writes her up. Then the two women find out they have been paired as patrol partners. Great. Natsumi figures she is stuck with a stiff. Then she sees Miyuki's patrol car, a machine tuned within an inch of its life, and watches her handle it like she was born in the driver's seat. Suddenly the by-the-book cop looks a lot more interesting. Reckless street racers, fender benders, whatever the shift throws at them, the pair tear through the city with more energy than the whole department combined, and somewhere between the sirens and the paperwork they stop being just coworkers. But Tokyo has a way of testing a new partnership, and typhoon season does not care how well two people drive together. Can a hothead and a mechanic really have each other's backs when everything goes sideways?
