You're Under Arrest (1996)

Natsumi dreams of chasing down killers and cracking impossible cases, but the job keeps handing her traffic jams, parking tickets and a mountain of paperwork. Then one morning she weaves her moped through traffic and gets pulled over by a rookie cop with a clipboard. The rookie is Miyuki. They yell at each other on the spot. Surprise: the next day they're partners at the Bokuto precinct, sharing a patrol car and a radio. Between them sit bent felons, a boss who shouts first and asks later, and cops so shy around women they can barely say good morning. Also, the cutest girl in the office isn't a girl. So two women who started with a traffic stop now have to survive speeders, stakeouts and each other, eight hours a day, no escape hatch. Can they make it through a single shift without strangling one another?
