The world's nations signed a grand alliance against the Neuroi, a threat to all mankind that only girls with special powers could stop. There was just one problem. The Neuroi never showed up. So the witches of the 501st sit around with nothing to shoot at, and now the 502nd, the ones everyone calls Brave Witches, get dragged into the same empty routine. Mornings that should start with alarms and scramble orders turn into who gets the last snack, who left the laundry, who is napping on the hangar roof. These girls were trained for the fight of their lives. Instead they bicker over chores and invent ways to kill time, and somehow that is the whole job now. The real conflict is not enemy fire. It is two units of magic soldiers stuck in peacetime, with all that power and nowhere to point it. They still have to live together, eat together, and keep a base running when nothing is coming. And when the sirens finally do wail, will anyone even remember which end of the broomstick points at the sky?
