TWOCAR

The opening day of the high school kneeler circuit has arrived, and girls from all over the country roll up with their sidecar machines and their crews. Yuri and Megumi are classmates first, racers second, and neither one plans to empty the tank today. That comes later, once the real season starts. For now it is all about showing up, feeling out the track, and letting everyone get a look at the field. Their own pit is staffed by the girls they sit next to in class, wrenching on the bike between heats. Then the flag drops, and the polite part of the afternoon ends. Every team wants the same thing: a spot in the national race, and only one of them gets it. So the two of them have to sort out who steers, who leans, and how hard they can push a machine built for two before it bites back. With mechanics in the pit and a whole pack of rivals breathing down their necks, can Yuri and Megumi hold their line long enough to prove they belong out front?
