Kiri Haimura really likes cutting hair. Not in a weird way, he just can't help himself around a nice head of it. So when he hears about a long-haired ghost haunting an abandoned house on a hill, he grabs his scissors and goes looking. What he finds isn't a ghost. It's a girl named Iwai, and her hair is the most beautiful thing he has ever seen. It also can't be cut. Not by anything. A family curse keeps it growing forever, and she has been hiding up there ever since. Then Kiri's scissors touch her hair, and it just comes off. Turns out they're a Killing Good, a cursed tool his own ancestor used to murder people, and they can slice through anything, even a curse. Which is great for Iwai, except for one small problem. Her hair is the prize in a death game. Kill the Hair Queen with a cursed object and you get whatever you want. So now every lunatic with a haunted weapon is coming for her. Kiri has to keep her alive, and he's the only one who can. But he's also got a family heirloom with a body count, and every Author out there wants his head. How long can he protect a girl whose death is someone else's wish?
