Haruaki Yachi has a strange gift: curses just don't stick to him. So when his father mails him a black cube with no explanation, he shrugs it off and goes to bed. Big mistake. Next morning there's a naked girl in his kitchen, and she's not lost. Her name is Fear, she's the cube, and she was built for torture. Try explaining that to your classmates. It gets worse. Fear isn't the only cursed object out there wearing a human face. Others are awake too, and their owners have no problem using them. So the boy who can't be cursed teams up with the tool that exists to cause pain. She fights beside him, which sounds helpful until you remember what she is.
