Hanae Ashiya just wanted to get through his first week of high school. Instead he spent it flat on his back in the infirmary, getting weaker by the day, all because of some fuzzy creature that latched onto him before classes even started. It keeps growing. So does the problem. Then he spots a flyer for an exorcist, makes the call, and a tea room appears right there beside the infirmary like it had always been there. The guy who runs it, Haruitsuki Abeno, sounds like he would rather be anywhere else. He fixes Hanae's little problem anyway, then hands him the bill. Hanae cannot pay it. Not even close. So now he works at the Mononokean, escorting stray youkai back to the Underworld, which would be strange enough on its own. It gets stranger: his new boss sits a few desks away from him at school. Can Hanae survive the job long enough to ever clear what he owes?
