He wears a plain coat and a friendly smile, and he always shows up when you are about to give up on the thing you want most. Fukuzou Moguro sells wishes. A word in your ear, a nudge in the right direction, and suddenly the promotion, the woman, the perfect body are all within reach. Then you break one small rule. You tell a friend. You come back for seconds. You decide you do not need him anymore. That is when the bill arrives, and it is never money he is after. Moguro does not just punish people. He lets their own hunger do the work, turning the gift they could not live without into the thing that tears their life apart. He watches it happen with the calm of a man finishing a crossword. So when he knocks on your door and offers you exactly what you have been dreaming about, what will you say?
