Kenshi Masaki was just a regular kid in Japan until someone yanked him into another world. On Geminar, kingdoms never stop fighting, and their weapon of choice is the Seikishi: massive robots left over from some forgotten age. Only a rare few can pilot them, so a good pilot gets titles, money, and power. The prime minister of Babalun spotted Kenshi's raw talent right away. So he wiped the boy's mind and pointed him at Princess Lashara with orders to kill. The attack failed. Lashara's guards fought him off, and when she got a look at what he could do with a Seikishi, she wanted him alive. Then came the surprise: the pilot was male, which almost never happens on Geminar. Killing him would be a waste. So she made him her personal servant instead. Now Kenshi tags along with her to the Holy Land, an academy where piloting students train, and everyone there stares at him like he grew a second head. He just wants to go home, but something ugly is festering inside those academy walls, and if it boils over, the whole world goes to war. Can a brainwashed boy who was sent to murder an empress really keep her safe?
