Episode 3 · Sweet Bite Marks

Sweet Bite Marks

She grew up knowing her place: humans serve, vampires rule. Then word comes down that Prince Roy has noticed her. Not a promotion. A death sentence with better manners. She hates everything his kind has done, and he makes no secret of what he thinks of hers. So of course they keep ending up in the same room. The distance between them shrinks anyway. Small moments, against everything they were taught. And the closer they get, the harder it becomes to ignore the blood in the history books, centuries of it, all pointing at people like him. Can two people who grew up as enemies even build something that lasts?
