Episode 19 · Speed Grapher

Speed Grapher

Ten years after the Bubble War, Tokyo belongs to the rich. They want something, they get it. Down in the red light district sits the Roppongi Club, a private playground where powerful men pay to live out whatever appetites they keep hidden from the daylight. Saiga used to shoot war zones. Now he takes assignments for a man named Hibara Ginza and slips into places he isn't invited. Then he gets caught. Dragged in front of a ritual, a girl named Kagura at the center of it, and something inside him snaps awake. His camera is no longer a camera. Whatever he frames through the lens blows apart. Now Saiga and Kagura are running from the club and from Kagura's own mother, who isn't about to let her daughter walk away. He doesn't fully understand what was done to him or what Kagura actually is. He only knows every shot he takes could kill, and the men behind the Roppongi Club know it too. So how long can one photographer and one girl hold out against a whole city built on other people's secrets?
