Nicoletta was just a kid when her mother Olga walked out and left her behind, chasing a new life in Rome. Fifteen years pass. Nicoletta grows up, packs her bags, and heads to the same city with one goal in mind: find Olga and wreck everything she has built. She actually pulls it off, tracking her down to a little restaurant called Casetta dell'Orso, and that is where the plan falls apart. The second she steps inside, the place gets to her. Every waiter is an older gentleman, all of them peering at her over stylish glasses, smiling like they know something she doesn't. She came ready for a fight. Instead she keeps coming back, drawn in by those warm voices and the slow rhythm of Italian life around the tables. Her revenge keeps slipping further away, replaced by something she never planned on. So what happens when she finally has to choose between the grudge she carried for fifteen years and the people who make her want to stay?
