Tsukimi came to Tokyo to draw jellyfish. Nineteen, shy to the bone, she hides out in a crumbling apartment house called Amamizukan, where men are banned at the door and the tenants are all women with zero interest in the outside world. No jobs, no visitors, just manga, tea and the occasional aquarium trip. Then one evening she spots a jellyfish in trouble at a pet shop and freezes. A glamorous stranger steps in and saves it. Tsukimi invites her home. They talk until they fall asleep. Next morning the beautiful woman is a rich college boy named Kuranosuke, and he keeps coming back in dresses, dragging fashion and chaos through rooms that have not seen a man in years. Her roommates would panic if they knew. Kuranosuke has his own reasons for hiding behind a wig, and they run straight into his family's plans for the neighborhood. The house is old, the land is worth a fortune, and developers are already circling. Tsukimi finally has a reason to step outside and fight for something. Can a shut-in who can barely hold a conversation stand her ground when the whole block is about to be sold?
